Especially if your kids are in that stage where they need constant attention, not only do you find that you don’t have time but you don’t have the energy it takes to initiate and sustain a romantic relationship. It just means that you’re picky and that’s a good thing. It’s just not a good thing to be too picky. You want to find someone who compliments you, who supports you emotionally and physically and who will accept your children as if they were his own.
