Ionic Breeze Air Purifier
Using the Ionic Breeze Air Purifier in the Bedroom
By Tony Cunningham
The modern home is a hot bed of allergens and irritants. Some come from outdoor air pollution, some from pets, some from naturally-occurring airborne particulates and some from artificial irritants such as perfumes. Once those allergens are in the home, it is difficult for them to leave since our homes are becoming more airtight to keep from wasting heating and cooling energy.
One-third of our lives are spent in the bedroom and allergens there have plenty of time to cause breathing problems. There are ways to limit the allergens in the bedroom, however, and there is no reason to wait until chronic problems develop. The first step is to install a good air cleanser like the Ionic Breeze air purifier.
Cleaning the Environment
Bedding is a natural home for allergens. Dust mites, dust, mold, bacteria and pet dander can find a good home there. Hypo-allergenic pillows, mattress pads and comforters are available. They contain an antimicrobial fiber that inhibits the growth of mold and bacteria. Plastic covers should be used on all pillows, mattresses and box springs in the home to prevent the spread of dust mites.
Vacuum carpeting and rugs often, and replace vacuum bags before they become full. Carpets can be replaced by hardwood flooring to assist in preventing allergy outbreaks. Allergens become worse while vacuuming so keep the allergy sufferers out of the room and wear a mask if you are sensitive.
After the dust settles, wipe down the surfaces with a damp cloth, and the Ionic Breeze air purifier will take care of the rest. Draperies can be a magnet for dust so if a person is allergic, remove them from the bedroom. Stuffed animals and cloth toys are just as guilty. Keep them to a minimum, clean the remaining ones often and trust the Ionic Breeze air purifier.
Keep windows closed to prevent pollen and other pollutants from coming in. Pollen is released by plants early in the morning, leaving sleepers helpless if the windows are open. After doing yard work, remove outer clothes at the door and wash inner clothing as soon as possible.
Don’t spread dust and pollen throughout the house. Keep the home’s humidity low to prevent the growth of mold and mildew. Prevention is best, but the Ionic Breeze air purifier can handle whatever gets by. Once an allergy is diagnosed and a trigger is identified, do your best to avoid exposure to it. The Ionic Breeze air purifier will work to keep airborne irritants from becoming a problem.
